ECUpro offers professional ECU tuning and diagnostic services. Our mobile technicians work throughout Central Scotland, including Glasgow and the surrounding area, Edinburgh and the surrounding area, and everywhere in between. We may be able to serve areas further afield on request, depending on availability — please contact us for more information.

Tuning

We use the latest technology to remap your car's ECU through the OBD port, which covers most petrol cars sold after 2001 and most diesel cars sold after 2004. We can remap older cars by removing the ECU and updating the software on the chip directly. In all cases we work in consultation with several of the UK's most respected tuning companies, who dyno develop the tuning files used to optimise the performance of your car, allowing us to offer a mobile tuning service while retaining the highest levels of quality and safety.

Diagnostics

We offer an electronic diagnosis service for all modern cars, and this is offered free with our tuning service to ensure that there are no problems with your engine before applying the tuning. We can also offer stand-alone diagnosis should your car be indicating the presence of a fault. We specialise in BMW and VAG (Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Skoda) diagnosis, and as such we have specialist equipment that provides a more detailed analysis for these models.
